A New Zumba Season to Move, Connect & Celebrate: Welcome to Autumn 2026

How our weekly classes on Saturday look like
How our weekly classes on Saturday look like

Empowering classes, special events, new experiences and an amazing community to move with this autumn.

August has a special feeling.

Summer isn't quite over. The days are still long, there are memories being made, and hopefully a few more warm days ahead. But little by little, everyday life begins to return. Work calendars start filling up, schools reopen, children's activities begin again, and our routines slowly find their way back into our lives.

Exercise often returns to the list too.

Maybe you took a break this summer. Maybe you stayed active, but movement looked completely different—swimming, walking, travelling, dancing at a concert or simply spending more time outdoors.

Wherever you are right now, you don't need to go from summer mode to full speed overnight.

This autumn, I want to invite you to find your rhythm again.

Not perfectly. Not all at once.

One class, one week and one small step at a time.

You Don't Need a Perfect Comeback

A new season can make us feel as though we need to reorganize our entire lives.

We want to exercise three times a week, eat better, sleep more, become stronger, organize the house, be productive at work and somehow still have time for everyone else.

But honestly, lasting routines don't need to begin with a dramatic transformation.

If you haven't exercised all summer, you don't need to start with three classes a week. Start with one.

Give yourself time to find your rhythm. Let your body become familiar with movement again. Allow that one hour to slowly become part of your weekly routine.

One of the messages you'll hear often from me this season is: Progression, not perfection.

Because showing up once is already different from not starting at all.

If We Haven't Danced Together Before...

Let me introduce me

I'm Patricia, a licensed Zumba instructor and the founder of Move with Patricia.

I started teaching Zumba in 2019, but over the years, what I do has grown into something much bigger than dancing and training.

I've had the opportunity to work with children discovering movement through play, adults looking for an energetic way to exercise and rediscover themselves, and older adults finding accessible ways to stay active and find joy through dancing and music. I've taught in swimming pools, dance studios, sports halls, parks and community spaces, inside outside and even online.

And all of those experiences have shaped the instructor I am today.

I believe movement can challenge us without feeling like punishment. I believe we can work hard and still laugh. I believe you can take your fitness seriously without taking every dance step seriously.

Most importantly, I want you to leave class feeling better than when you arrived.

You don't need to know the choreography before you come.

That's my job.

Your job is simply to show up.

Zumba Fitness Is at the Heart of Our Season

This autumn, my regular 90-minute Zumba Fitness classes return in Tullinge and Stockholm City.

Why 90 minutes?

Because over time, my classes have evolved beyond cardio alone. Our format gives us time to combine Zumba Fitness, strength training and stretching in one experience.

We start with the part many of us love most: music, dancing and the energy of Zumba. Then we dedicate time to becoming stronger before finishing by slowing things down and stretching.

But the class is also about something that can't be measured in repetitions or minutes.

It's our weekly meeting point.

We see familiar faces. We welcome new ones. We learn choreography, celebrate when we finally remember that tricky part of a song, laugh when we don't, and gradually build a routine together.

Some weeks you'll arrive full of energy.

Other weeks, showing up will be the victory.

Both count.

Find Your Weekly Rhythm

In Tullinge, you can join me on Tuesday and Thursday evenings for our 90-minute Zumba Fitness experience.

In Stockholm City, we meet on Saturday mornings, giving you another way to start your weekend with movement, music and community.

You don't need to attend every possible class to make movement matter.

Choose the day that works for your life and start there.

But This Season Is About More Than Our Weekly Classes

I love the consistency of our weekly routine, but I also believe that trying something different, celebrating together and stepping outside our comfort zones keeps movement exciting.

That's why an autumn with Move with Patricia is not simply a calendar of Zumba classes.

From September to December, we'll dance, learn, celebrate, support meaningful causes and create opportunities to spend time together beyond our regular weekly routine.

And we have a lot to look forward to.

September: We Start by Celebrating—and Giving Back

On Saturday, September 5, we're starting the month at downtown with my birthday celebration. Because if there's one thing our community knows how to do, it's finding a reason to celebrate together!

Later that month, on September 26 in Stockholm City, we'll dance for something much bigger than ourselves with Zumba for Friends, a special event connected to the work against bullying and supporting Friends and their remarkable work to ensure that every child grows up without experiencing bullying, harassment, or degrading treatment.

Movement can bring people together, but I also want our community to use that connection to support causes that matter. Creating spaces where people feel welcomed, respected and included is something I value both inside and outside the dance floor.

October: Pink, Halloween and a Very Special Guest

October is going to be a busy one!

Our Pink Party returns in support of breast cancer awareness, with two opportunities to participate: Tuesday, October 6 in Tullinge and Saturday, October 10 in Stockholm City.

These events have become an important part of our community calendar because they bring together two things I care deeply about: moving together and using that energy to contribute to something meaningful.

Then we're changing pink for Halloween!

Our Halloween Party in Tullinge is Thursday, October 22, followed by a Halloween Class in Stockholm City on Saturday, October 24. Expect music, costumes, movement and permission to have a little extra fun with our usual routine.

And we're not finished.

On Saturday, October 31, Stockholm City welcomes William Villaseñor for a special Master Class.

Guest instructors give us an opportunity to experience someone else's energy, teaching style and interpretation of movement. Even as an instructor, I love being a student. There is always something new to learn.

November: All That Jazz

November brings something completely different.

We're stepping outside our regular Zumba routines for All That Jazz, a special Jazz Dance workshop with Kristy.

Stockholm City dances on Saturday, November 14, followed by Tullinge on Tuesday, November 17.

Why jazz?

Because so much of the commercial dance we see today has been influenced by it. This workshop is an opportunity to go back to some of those foundations and explore posture, coordination, expression and the timeless style of Jazz Dance.

And no, you don't need to be a jazz dancer.

That's precisely the point.

We're going there to learn, explore and try something new.

December: Ending the Season Together

And then, somehow, we'll reach December.

We'll close our regular season with our Xmas Party in Stockholm City on Saturday, December 5, bringing together music, movement and celebration and raising funds for Venezuela one more time before the holidays

.

But I also want us to have opportunities to connect without our workout clothes on.

On Friday, December 11, we'll have our Xmas Table Experience, an opportunity to enjoy a Swedish julbord together, talk, laugh and celebrate everything we've experienced throughout the season.

Because community isn't only created while we're dancing.

Sometimes it's built around a table.

Why Do I Create All These Experiences?

You might be wondering why a Zumba instructor needs birthday celebrations, workshops, charity events, Halloween classes and Christmas dinners.

Because Move with Patricia isn't only about exercise.

  • Movement is at the center, but around it we've built something else.

  • Community.

  • Curiosity.

  • Friendships.

  • Learning.

  • Celebrations.

  • Giving back.

  • And a space in our week where, for a little while, we can disconnect from everything else.

That's why the philosophy behind Move with Patricia is built around five Holistic Health Pillars: Eating with Kindness, Mental Clarity, Joyful Movement, Meaningful Connection and Loving Self-Care.

You won't find all five in every single class. And none of us will practice all five perfectly every day.

But throughout a season together, I want to create opportunities for all of them to become part of our lives.

What Will You Discover This Season?

Maybe this is the autumn you try Zumba for the first time.

Maybe you've danced with me for years and this is the season you decide to try Jazz.

Maybe you want to become stronger.

Maybe you'll dance for a cause that matters to you.

Maybe you'll meet someone in class who eventually becomes a friend.

Or maybe what you need right now is much simpler:

one moment in your week that belongs to you.

Whatever brings you to the dance floor this autumn, you don't need to arrive as a new version of yourself.

You don't need to be fitter first.

You don't need to know the choreography.

And you certainly don't need to do everything on this calendar.

Choose what fits your life.

Start there.

Ready for Autumn 2026?

Our new season begins in August, and registration for my Zumba Fitness classes in Tullinge and Stockholm City is open.

Explore the current classes and choose the day that works best for you. If you're new and aren't sure where to begin, you're always welcome to write to me.

You don't need a "new you" this autumn.

Bring the person you already are.

We'll move from there.

See you on the dance floor. 💛
